RN Pressure-independent Circular Constant Air Volume Damper
The RN pressure-independent circular constant air volume damper is a circular valve, a self-acting mechanical device requiring no external power and maintenance-free. Within a differential pressure range of 50–1000 Pa for the air system and an operating temperature of 10°C–50°C, its regulation error is within ±4% with a turndown ratio of 4:1. During installation, a straight duct section of 1.5D length is required at the inlet.
The constant air volume damper quantitatively distributes airflow in ducts and balances system resistance to reduce air system commissioning costs. It can be installed on supply air ducts, fresh air ducts and exhaust air ducts. Proper layout of constant air volume dampers enables indoor pressure control at positive or negative pressure. In addition, dampers installed on fresh air ducts ensure rational fresh air distribution, which is critical for maintaining indoor hygiene standards.
The RN type constant air volume damper is widely used in supply, exhaust and fresh air systems of hospitals, office buildings, hotels and other buildings. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically. An electric actuator can be configured to switch the set airflow rate.
Common materials: The casing and valve blade are galvanized steel sheet; bearings and spring strips are stainless steel; the air bladder is made of polymer material.
